Why call this the "100" bag and why is it so cool? Because it's made from at least 100 recycled plastic bags! These bags take 1 woman at least 10 days to make one finished product, which is why what you see is what we have, and no more exist. The plastic bags used to make the "100" bags have been cut into strips and woven into fibers which are then hand crocheted into these intricate, one-of-a-kind handbags. The lining is made of recycled flour sacks and the interior features a zipper top pocket. Each "100" bag comes with a notecard including the name of the woman who made it by hand.
